1. Start by crushing Cornflakes in a ziplock bag.
2. In a bowl, combine 2 cups of the crushed Cornflakes with 2 cups of Cornmeal. Season generously with granulated garlic, smoked paprika, chicken bouillon powder, sazon, and Tony’s Creole seasoning. Mix well.
3. In a separate large bowl, season flour with the same seasonings.
4. In another bowl, whisk together 3 eggs and 1 cup of buttermilk.
5. Cut about 6 Green Tomatoes into quarter-inch slices.
6. Dip each tomato slice first into the seasoned flour, then into the egg/buttermilk mixture, and finally pack on the Cornflake/Cornmeal breading.
7. Heat any high heat oil to about 320 degrees Fahrenheit. Fry the breaded tomato slices until they are golden brown, then remove and let them rest on a cooling rack.
8. For the Spicy Ranch, in a bowl, whisk together 1 cup of buttermilk, 1/2 cup of sour cream, and 1/2 cup of mayo.
9. Season the ranch mixture with 1 packet of ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and Sazon. Whisk until fully combined.
10. Serve the Spicy Ranch on the side with your Fried Green Tomatoes. Enjoy!
