Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta recipe with bell peppers, onions, garlic, white wine, heavy cream, and Parmesan, seasoned with Cajun seasoning, lemon pepper, paprika, and Sazon.
In a bowl, add 1 pound of raw, peeled, and deveined shrimp (with the tails off). Toss them in oil, Cajun seasoning, and lemon pepper. Add the shrimp to a pan on medium heat with oil. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and set them aside. Then, in the same pan, add 1 cup of diced bell pepper, 1 cup of diced onion, and 5 cloves of minced garlic. Cook until the onions are clear, then add 1 cup of dry white wine (like Chardonnay). Let it simmer for about 3 minutes. Then add 1.5 cups of heavy whipping cream, 4 tablespoons of butter, 1/3 cup of pasta water (removed right before straining your pasta), 1 cup of freshly grated Parmesan, Cajun seasoning, Paprika, and Sazon. Then add in your cooked shrimp along with 1 pound of al dente pasta and stir it in. Top it off with fresh parsley when serving. Enjoy!
