Bacon & Chive Deviled Eggs🥚🥓 Start out by boiling and peeling one dozen eggs. Then cut them in half, pop out the yolks into a mixing bowl, and set the whites aside. Mash up the yolks using a fork. Then to the bowl add: -2/3 cup of full fat mayonnaise -2 tablespoons of sour cream -1 tablespoon of bacon drippings -1/2 to 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard (depending on how tangy want it) -1 tablespoon of your favorite pickle brine (I’m using the brine from my Mom’s homemade sweet and spicy pickles🥰) -season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper, (and a little sugar if you want it to be sweeter.) Then let the filling sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before adding it to the egg whites. (If you’re piping it in, it’s usually best to use a tip that has a larger hole to avoid the filling getting jammed.) Top the eggs with a generous amount of sliced fresh chives, and a piece of crispy bacon. Enjoy💜 #food #recipe #deviledeggs #foodie #appetizer
